From Autonet.ca - With very few changes for the 2009 model year, the Volkswagen Rabbit still sits near or at the top of the list of vehicles in its segment. And that’s saying something, considering it’s up against powerhouses like the Mazda3, Pontiac Vibe and Subaru Impreza.

While most cars at the SEMA Show can be characterised as chrome-dipped, gold-plated and diamante-encrusted examples of styling gone amok, it’s easy to forget that there are still a few show cars hidden in those giant Las Vegas halls that don’t provoke strong bouts of nausea.
Islands of common sense and tasteful restraint in a sea of gaudiness and bling, these c…

From Jalopnik.com: The car industry and the publications that serve it like order. They like to place things into categories and through doing so, exert some illusion of control over the marketplace. The BMW 3-series competes with the Audi A4. The Honda Accord competes with the Toyota Camry. Vehicles are priced to be a few dollars higher or lower than the competition and offer a few…

But the 2009 Volkswagen Routan Minivan has arrived at Nemer VW in Latham, New York. I took my first look at this new vehicle and I have to say, it's nice looking, has many features/options, gets respectable gas mileage and handles very well. I'm not in the market for a minivan right now, but if I was, I would certainly give serious consideration to the Volkswagen Routan. We sell the Dodge Caravan and Chrysler Town & Country as well and while both are very nice, well built vehicles, the Ro
